Hot Season starts to take its toll...

So the cracking heat is leaving some of my plants in a shameful state, the ginger is wilting away and many of the seed are not even growing - I have been experimenting moving stuff around to see if a shadier or cooler location would help - failing that will just have to try again when monsoon hits and the temperature drops and the rains begin....

And So the Hot Season Begins

So the hot season here has begun, daily temperatures upto 35 degree Celcius, making it a hard time for the plants. Luckily there is finally some rain, so will just have to see what fairs best. From my trip I was able to get hold of some European seeds, so have begun with European basil, French Marigolds and some mixed herbs, to see what will actually be happy in this climate, watch and see.
